It's raining today. Not heavy, just a drizzle. Been up since 3:30am. Couldn't sleep. My mouth is still aching and tender from the extraction. I called yesterday, and the nurse told me it was "normal" and to wait a couple of weeks...
My husband is getting dressed for work and I hear Izzy taunting him, trying to get him to play with her...she sounds full of energy and I am lacking in mine...

I hope you feel better soon. A couple of weeks of aching sounds like a lot of "normal". It is cold and rainy here and I guess what you have will be coming this way. It sounds like Izzy is doing okay with your husband.
we got rain here today too and cool temperatures. it is hard to wake up at that time of the morning and not able to be able to get back to sleep; I suffer from insomnia like that at times
it is also hard too when the dogs have the energy and we are lacking with it
hoping you were able to get a nap in later in the day
