I...Reading your blog, I can almost feel your pain. I lost my father to lung cancer when he was in his early 60's but he was very with it right up to the end. Then my mother who made it into her 80's was another kettle of fish. She had spent a number of years in a care facility. I had only 1 sibling who didn't make it to 60 so I have never been in your situation of having to make a decission regarding a loved parent who is with you only in body.
